* Intended for smartphones *

inkBee, is a game for two sharing one smartphone.

  • Each player controls an “inkBee”, as they race to paint as many flowers as they can, within a 31-second pollination window.

  • At the end of each round, the player that painted the most flowers wins, and the round restarts.

  • All flowers on the meadow are up for grabs, even if your opponent has painted the flowers with their respective color.

    Being a two-player game, sharing one smartphone, along with human hands existing in many different shapes and sizes. I recommend using some time to find a comfortable position for both players. Either holding the phone and cupping each others hands or laying the phone on a flat surface, opposite of each other.

    For clarification on which direction to hold the device; hold it lengthwise so that the other player is opposite of you. (In-game text angle and placement indicates this as well)

    (If the game does not start automatically, try reloading the page while open in the browser, i have experienced this using Chrome on iOS. In terms of browsers i recommend Chrome or Firefox, although Safari can also be used.

This is my first mobile game, it was a fun learning experience, as well as playing with the opportunities and limitations of the platform. I enjoy exploring the aspect of an interactive experience shared using one device or input method, between multiple users. Sharing a moment together; holding hands and playing a game simultaneously.

Looking forward to feedback,
